As a digital strategist intern at BCom, my role included copywriting, editing and website development.

I wrote monthly social media calendars for various clients like the City of Auburn and North Austin Pediatrics. I updated our client’s websites with current information and communicated updates with the website development team. Everything we produced went through a copy check, which I was responsible for providing edits. I was also responsible for monthly analytic reports and managing advertisements on Facebook and Google.

Ashland-Greenwood Community Performing Arts Campaign

For the Ashland-Greenwood Community Performing Arts Campaign, I wrote press releases, radio scripts and donation signs for events. I was also responsible for creating social media content for the campaign’s social media accounts.

UNMC Trusted Voices (Diabetes Prevention)

This is one of the first campaigns I worked on as an intern. My role was watching interviews with the trusted voices and pulling the quotes that conveyed our message the best. The campaign consisted of billboards, digital ads, commercials and social media posts.

I Love Rural Health

For this campaign, I was responsible for checking and editing the closed captioning for every video. I was responsible for promoting these videos on social media and creating a social media calendar.
